La Clef des Champs is located in the valley of Montpinchon, well known in the area for its outstanding beauty and varied wildlife.

Hideaway

Our property enjoys 12 acres of private land allowing for plenty of outdoors activities : playing around, wildlife observation, gardening, fishing, horse riding.... Horse owners are welcome too and will be able to leave their horses in the field immediately next to the gite's garden.

A walking path on its doorstep will take you around the village and the county. The tourism office organises group walks in the summer where children can ride on donkeys. Please click on link for more information

Ideally located to discover la Manche

In the heart of the Manche county, with a maximum of one hour driving distance from all the main attractions, the gite is ideally located to allow you to visit the area at your own pace.

The list of these attractions would be endless for there are so many beautiful natural or historical sites to visit like the Cathedrale of Coutances, the Abbey in Hambye, the Haras Nationaux de Saint-Lô or the worldwide known Mont-Saint-Michel and D-Day beaches.

Discover Normandy through gastronomy

Shop for local fresh produce in the many weekly markets that each major village or town is hosting throughout the year. There you will find freshly picked vegetables, seafood or dairy products that are the speciality of this area of Normandy, without forgetting cider and apple-derived products of course! Do not hesitate to ask for fresh milk straight from milking that our neighbour will be happy to bring, or visit local producers of cider, foie gras to buy directly.
