Saint-Laurent bike race

Montpinchon, August

This bike race is the pride of Montpinchon and brings a lot of buzz in the area for an extended weekend. With fun fair, flea market and many animations around the different races taking place in the hilly roads around the village.

Some ideas for outings : Coutances, its botanical garden and its cathedral (14km), Saint-Lô and its stud farm (19km), beautiful sandy beaches (17km), Mont-Saint-Michel, Landing beaches, Hambye, Granville : its old town and its Dior museum, Bayeux and its Tapestry museum, Hambye... to name but a few! or why not, a day trip to the Channel Islands! Note in July/August: Festival Zic sur le Zinc (concert every Thursday in a bar/restaurant in Coutançais).
